The Stettler Wildcats JV girls’ team hit the road Monday night for a date with the Notre Dame Cougars of Red Deer.

The Wildcats held a lead in the early minutes of the first quarter and battled throughout the game, but finished with a 64-41 loss.

The top scorers for the Wildcats were Carly Armstrong, with 14 points, and Morgan VanDusen, with 10 points.

“Destiny Croker played an impressive game as a defensive centre,” said Stettler coach Santana Scarff.

The girls are back home tonight for a 6 p.m. game against Lindsay Thurber in the William E. Hay Composite High School gym.
