We are back into the swing of things here at William E. Hay with our second semester starting last Tuesday, Jan. 31.
All Grade 12 students have started Grand March practice and were measured on Friday, Feb. 3. Grad partners will soon be assigned according to height.
The Saturday Night Grad Ceremony Committee and the Grad Decorating Committee will begin meeting this week to determine the theme and colours of Grad 2012.
Tonight, the School Council will be holding a teleconference with the Minister of Education at the Stettler Outreach School at 7:15. Everyone is welcome to attend.
There will be a Valentine’s Day dance held on Friday, Feb. 17. We encourage students to bring a food bank donation, which will drop their admission fee from $5 to $4.
It was a busy weekend for both William E. Hay senior basketball teams as the boys and girls participated in the Bonnyville tournament, and both Wildcat teams made the trip worthwhile.
