Resident spreads holiday cheer

Dear Editor:
Now that Christmas is fast approaching and the town is feeling the “spirit,” I thought I would take the time to write a letter about neighbours.
While sitting in my snug living room recently, my attention was drawn to the window by a loud and constant noise. When I investigated, I saw a red-suited man with a snow blower going up and down the sidewalk. When the sidewalk was clear, he made passes at several driveways and yard paths up and down the street, making access much easier and convenient.
Was this red-suited man the jolly old elf? No, it was our neighbour, Don. Jolly he certainly is, among other nice things. A bouquet to Don for spreading his Christmas spirit on 55th Avenue.
