Dear Editor:

I’m a young adult and have made Rimbey my home for the last six years.

I’ll admit I don’t read the Rimbey Review on a weekly basis, and remain ignorant in many local and world events unless stumbled upon on Facebook, Twitter or the Howard Stern show.

I’ve read the article “Councillor accused of conflict of interest” pertaining to Paul Payson.

This guy sounds awesome and probably deserves a high-five from everyone in town.

Looking at his photo printed along with the article, it appears Paul has a decent haircut, too. Paul teaches our children, puts out the fires on our burning homes and helps run the town with (mayor) Sheldon.

The appropriate phrase to describe Mr. Payson would be ‘like a boss.’

I can’t remember who I voted for in Rimbey’s last election, but I do know that I’m all right with Paul and the titles he holds. Mr. Payson won’t get any grief from me if he saves my ass out of a burning building, and then heads into school the next day to educate our students.
