One killed in Oak Drive collision

A 25-year-old man is dead after a vehicle crashed into numerous parked cars early Monday morning in Red Deer.
Red Deer RCMP, along with Red Deer Emergency Services, were called to Oak Drive around 3 a.m.
Police say a single vehicle collided with empty vehicles along the street.
A second man, 24, was transported by STARS to Calgary with life-threatening injuries.
STARS spokesperson Leanne Rekiel said the second male was airlifted from Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre to Foothills Hospital with multiple injuries.
Police are not releasing names or any further information pending notification of the men’s next of kin.
RCMP collision analysts and Red Deer RCMP traffic services are investigating and seeking the public’s assistance.
