Crash shuts down Hwy 12 near Stettler

Both lanes of Highway 12 just east of the junction of Highway 11 and Highway 12 were temporarily closed on Wednesday morning due to a serious motor vehicle collision.

A male and a female are believed to have been seriously injured in the accident, one of them being evacuated by a STARS ambulance helicopter.

Stettler RCMP said they would release a statement once the initial investigation has been completed.
