County not a good place for seniors to live

Is Red Deer County a good place for seniors to stay in their own home? I think not.
I moved to Dickson six years ago. My taxes in that time have increased $283; last year, $101.80, this year, $9O.82. Garbage collection went from $90 to $180 a year. My pension has not increased accordingly.
Now at 85 we must look at moving. We have an unresponsive mayor and unresponsive councilor. I hope the time comes when they get this feeling. But their per diem salaries and expense accounts will look after them. I had to work to raise my family and pay taxes.
