Teachers’ Convention Children’s Chess Club is open to children eight years and over on Feb. 5 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the children’s department at downtown branch of Red Deer Public Library. The Marriage Course offers couples of all ages and stages tools to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime. The course is offered on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. from Feb. 3 to March 24 at CrossRoads Church. The programs consist of videos and private discussion on topics such as communication, resolving conflict, healing past hurts, making spouses feel loved, parent and in-law issues, sex, making time for each other, and having fun.
