Puppet mania
Puppet Mania for children ages six and up is offered at Red Deer Public Library Children’s Department at the downtown branch on Wednesday from 7 to 7:30 p.m. The event will feature fun, interactive stories, with puppets and storytellers. Phone 403-346-4688 for further information.
Patient Safety Week
A Red Deer College Nursing Faculty and Nursing Society are marking Patient Safety Week with a presentation at Collegeside on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Speaker Sabina Robin advocates for patient safety through the story of her daughter’s illness, treatment and death following an error. Any donations will be directed to the national organization Patients for Patient Safety, to which Robin belongs.
