Hobbema drugs seized

Drugs and guns were seized Jan. 23 from a residence on the Samson reserve.
With the assistance of Wetaskiwin RCMP Police Dog Services, Hobbema RCMP executed a search warrant and seized marijuana with an estimated street value of $1,100, along with weapons.
Police arrested and charged Shawn Simon, 31, of the Samson First Nation, with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
An arrest warrant has also been issued for Allen Wade Simon, 29, who faces similar charges. Allen Wade Simon also has a warrant for being unlawfully at large.
