Lodge residents entertained

Dear Editor:
We are so blessed to live in a town with so many people who are willing to give so much. We have had music from many entertainers — choirs, bands, hand bells, families, schools, and individuals who have visited at the lodge. Thank you to all.
Entertainment is loved by so many and without your talent we would be lost. We have had homemade cards from the Ponoka Elementary School Grade 3 students and St. Augustine Grade 5 students — such a wonderful surprise in so many mailboxes.
On Dec. 21 the Rimoka residents took a bus tour of Ponoka to see the Christmas lights with a stop at Tim Hortons for coffee after. Special recognition to Tim Hortons who donated coffee to all 35 of us, the Lions Club for donating the use of their bus, and Neil Chalek who donated his time by driving us around. We couldn’t ask for anything better.
We wish all of Ponoka a Merry Christmas and all the best in 2012.
