4-Hers busy with Christmas projects

The East Ponoka 4-H Beef Club would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Our club resumed in the fall with 13 members, Herman Simons and Keith Kjenner as assistant leaders and Monica Harvey as club leader.
We would like to thank VJV Auction Mart for hosting our weigh-in in October. Our club is also fundraising while helping the environment at the same time. We are collecting used oil filters, batteries and tires for recycling. If anyone out east, west or wherever has any of these items they would like to donate, please contact Keith Kjenner at 403-783-4729 to arrange for pickup.
We have also worked at the Firemen’s Ball running the coat check, and at the Chamber of Commerce Children’s Shopping Party assisting young shoppers and wrapping presents.
We just had our Christmas party at Leisure Lanes bowling alley and everyone had fun.
Thanks to everyone who supports 4-H and we hope to see you in the spring at our Show and Sale.
