Crosby sucks?

I wonder what was going through Sydney Crosby’s head when 20,000 Philadelphia Flyers fans started chanting, “Crosby sucks! Crosby sucks!”
Do you think his confidence was rattled? Do you think he started to wonder, “Oh no! Maybe I do suck...?”
Not likely.
The Flyers fans, who have proclaimed themselves ‘The Most Intimidating Fans in Sports’ were giving Crosby an enthusiastic welcome to The City of Brotherly Love when the Penguins hit the ice on Thursday night.
While watching the game on TV, I actually laughed out loud when I realized what the crowd was chanting.
I realize it is the duty of fans — especially in playoff time — to cheer and jeer get under the opponents' skin, but come on. Really? ‘Crosby sucks?’ That’s the best they can do?
This is a 21-year-old hockey wonder who is on pace to break almost every kind of scoring record in the book.
To say Crosby sucks makes about as much sense as saying the sky is green, or Sean Avery is a gentleman — it’s just too far-fetched to have any impact.
