Edmonton police crack mail fraud, identity theft ring

EDMONTON — Edmonton police say they have cracked a mail theft and identity fraud ring.

Nine people have been arrested and together face more than 90 charges including theft, trafficking in government identity documents and possessing stolen credit cards.

Police say members of the group stole mail from mail boxes at apartment complexes in the city.

The accused include Brad Waselenchuk, 31; Christine Kusick, 28; Michelle Racicot, 26; Michael Racicot, 24; Ryan Sopher, 23; Ryan Roberts, 29; Jonathan Widlake, 37; Erin Cameron, 25, and Tasker Williams, 18.
