Korean War veterans salute their 516 fallen comrades during the playing of The Last Post at the Red Deer Cenotaph Tuesday.

About 30 people paid tribute to mark the 60th anniversary of the United Nations’ intervening between South and North Korea.

The three-year conflict ended July 27th, 1953 when both sides signed a ceasefire.
